My wife and I were interested in selling our home in North Long Beach and we wanted a reputable listing agent who was honest and had professional Ethical Standards. A friend of ours who had purchased her first home had recommended us to Tammy Newland.
We met with Tammy Newland to get a feel of what she had to offer us in marketing our home. She presented us with a complete market analysis of our property as well as other properties recently sold in our neighborhood. Included in this Analysis was information to assist prospective buyers on local schools, services, markets, and other pertinent information on those unfamiliar with the area.
We immediately listed our property with her. Within a short time period, we received an offer and accepted it. During this time Tammy communicated with us on a regular basis and kept us informed as to the progress.
We also purchased our new home in Lakewood with the help of Tammy. We ran into some difficulties with the sellers of our new house, however, again, Tammy’s expertise and professional ethics played a key role and helped us maintain patience in a somewhat difficult situation which we contemplated backing out of. In any event, the decision to withdraw our offer on our new house was ours and Tammy did not pressure us into making a hasty decision. We decided on keeping our offer and at the end of escrow, we were satisfied and both properties closed ahead of schedule.
